About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior VIP Relationship Manager to lead our sales team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have solid sales management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in competitive financial markets to consistently exceed revenue targets and client acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor the team and ensure team sales targets are achieved.
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and activity standards for the team, regularly review performance, and implement action plans to close gaps and drive growth.
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Professional Investors (PI), Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals, and VIPs, including direct coverage of selected top-tier clients.
Oversee and support the team in proactively onboarding new clients and guiding them through the full onboarding journey from interest to activation.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Product) to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant onboarding and execution processes across the team's client base.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities, refine sales strategies, and share best practices with the team to sharpen positioning and improve performance.
Represent the firm, and support team members in representing the firm, at industry events, Web3 conferences, networking functions, and private client gatherings to enhance brand visibility and expand the firm's VIP ecosystem.
Requirements
5--7+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally from private banking, wealth management, investment banking, institutional sales, or a leading crypto/digital asset platform.
Proven track record of successfully onboarding, managing, and growing PI/UHNW/VIP client relationships, with strong revenue and trading volume results.
Prior experience leading, supervising, or coaching a small frontline sales or relationship management team is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with investment products, alternative assets, and digital assets; strong interest in crypto and related financial products is an advantage.
SFC Type 1 license (dealing in securities) is required.
Demonstrated success in client acquisition and relationship management, with the ability to translate strategy into concrete team actions.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and develop team members.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
