Job Description

Seeking an energy lawyer with 5-10 PQEs to work in a fintech that invests in new and renewable energy related companies or projects. The candidate must have knowledge on energy-related secured transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and related corporate work.

Requirements

• Must have a working knowledge of electricity and related financial transactions
• Experience in drafting credit agreements, security agreements and energy related transactional documents, sale and purchase agreements and power purchase agreement
• Knowledge in IPO and SEC filings, SFC licensing and cryptocurrency will be preferred

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Admitted to practice in HK or US
• Solid energy related transactional experience
• Experience in handling loan and security documents
• Corporate finance experience including M&A, IPO as well as SEC filings
• Exposure to digital currency and HKSFC licensing requirements
• Fluency in English and Chinese
• Able to work independently as well as being a good team player
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Highly ethical, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
